A jetty in an afternoon
Float Pods are 500mm cubes in HMW HDPE that pin together as long and as wide as you want. Pins, bolts and spacers are included, the surface is anti-slip, and you can reconfigure the layout any time.
Imported Dockpro system, shipped from stock.
Boardwalks that float over wetland, mud and shallow water
Walk Pods are low, square pods that sit under a timber walkway frame. No piles driven into sensitive ground, and the walkway rises and falls with the water.

Kayak & dinghy launches
Low freeboard and a drive-on edge make Float Pods the easy way to launch and park kayaks, dinghies and jet skis.
Resort access jetties
Guest landings and access jetties for resorts and lodges, shipped to the Pacific and assembled on site.
Foreshore and waterway permissions
New Zealand
Structures in the coastal marine area, lakes and rivers usually need a resource consent from your regional council. Talk to them before ordering, and we'll supply the specifications they ask for.
Australia
Jetties and pontoons generally need approval from the state waterways authority and sometimes the local council. Requirements vary by state and waterway.
Pontoon Marine Systems take no responsibility for incorrect usage or for any local permissions or approvals that may be required for the installation of these products.
How many pods does your dock need?
Estimates assume half immersion and an even load. Every configuration is checked by Pontoonz before a quote is sent.
Do I need a consent?
Usually. In New Zealand talk to your regional council; in Australia, your state waterways authority and local council.
What about tides?
A floating dock rises and falls with the tide, so the deck stays at the same height above the water. Gangways and mooring are set up for your tidal range.
How long does assembly take?
Float Pods pin and bolt together in about an hour for a small jetty. Walk Pod walkways depend on the timber frame.
How is it anchored?
With chains or ropes to mooring blocks, or with pile hoops where piles already exist. The right method depends on depth, tide and exposure.
Can I mix pod types?
Yes. A Main Pod landing with a Float Pod finger, or a Walk Pod walkway leading to a Float Pod jetty, are common combinations.
