A floating sauna is a cabin on a pontoon
The same pods that carry a houseboat carry a sauna. Bolt the hull together, build a deck, and put your sauna cabin and a cold-plunge ladder on top. Moor it off the shore, or move it to wherever the view is best.

What a floating sauna takes
6 Main Boat Pods
A 3.6m x 3m platform. Room for a small sauna cabin and a plunge deck. Rated about 900kg at half immersion, including the cabin and bathers.
8 Main Boat Pods
A 4.8m x 3m platform. A bigger cabin, a bench deck and space for the group. Rated about 1,200kg at half immersion.

Will it be stable with people moving around?
Size the platform to the cabin plus the people and it sits level at about half immersion. The calculator does the sums.
Do I need a consent?
Moorings and structures on water usually need a consent from your regional council in New Zealand, or approval from your state waterways authority in Australia.
Can I build the cabin myself?
Yes. Pontoonz supplies the platform; you or your builder do the cabin.
