3.6m x 3m on six Main Boat Pods
Our most popular raft: two hulls of three Main Boat Pods with a timber deck. Rated about 900kg at half immersion. Add a ladder, non-slip decking and handrails to suit.
Bigger rafts for councils and clubs
The Paihia community raft is 5.7m x 3m. Cheltenham Beach in Auckland has its own. Councils size them for the crowd, and we state the rated capacity with every quote.

How many pods does your raft need?
Enter your deck size and the load it has to carry. We'll tell you how many pods, which type, and an indicative price.
Estimates assume half immersion and an even load. Every configuration is checked by Pontoonz before a quote is sent.
How many people will it hold?
A 3.6 x 3m raft on six Main Boat Pods is rated about 900kg at half immersion, including the deck.
How is it anchored?
With a chain or rope to a mooring block, using the tie-off points moulded into the pods.
Can it stay out all year?
Yes. No antifoul, 15+ year pod life, and an annual water blast is the only maintenance.
